YMCA Leadership Academy helps teens from ages 13-15 develop into confident and competent adults, imparting a strong sense of individual identity, but also a sense of belonging in their community. This two-week summer program includes a leadership curriculum, workshops, and field trips, designed to promote and foster the skills and confidence necessary for success in academic and social settings. Teens work on character building, organization skills, social interaction, and general leadership training. They connect as a group, and with younger campers, reinforcing their sense of community and their role as a leaders. Here at the YMCA, we do all that we can to develop strong individuals and leaders who will become positive forces within their communities.
