How to be a leader

According to Webster, a leader is defined as a person that directs a body, who has confidence and can command authority. Spend a day with the Leadership Academy and you will see for yourself that these young men and women are learning to do just that. Matt talks to campers about what it takes to be a leader. The campers started off the day drawing themselves the way they think their lives will look 20 to 30 years from now, as a successful leader. After, the campers came up with lists of positive and negative qualities of a leader. Matt said that the list thought of this week surpasses any prior week! Working towards developing the qualities of being a leader is no easy feat, but the Leadership Academy is right on track!
