Friday- Discovery Camp

This week has been a fun filled week for Discovery Camp with their theme of Lights, Camera, Action! They have been working nonstop on their movies to get them perfect and are ready to make people laugh. Today there will be an all camp BBQ to celebrate the end of a week and all the campers hard work. Counselor Miranda said “I am excited to eat the good food with the campers.” The YMCA is going to whip out their water slides and have the kids slip and slide in the water. The camp will be getting ready for their movie premiere for Family Fun Friday which will be held tonight. At this event there will be food, family swimming, and the premiere of the movies that the campers made before the movie Tangled on the big inflatable screen. Camper Riteij said “I am excited to see the Explorer’s movie and to have fun at the Family Fun Night!” Camper Riteij and his friends are excited to see all their hard work pay off and to relax and eat at the BBQ.  If you would like to register for this free family event you can call (609) 497- 9622 and be a part of this fun. From 6 to 7 there will be free swim and from 7 to 8 there will be food. At 8 the campers movies will be revealed and shortly after, the movie Tangled will be shown. If you would like to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on for the movie that would be a great idea or even your own snacks. This is a night for everyone to come together and be a big happy YMCA family.
